With hot temps and sunny days who wants to eat out inside? Not me.

The Moorhead Dairy Queen

Famous for being the “Rogue DQ” when you’re in Moorhead make sure to stop by and get some real ice cream. Know for using their own recipes there’s something special about this place. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, because its all outside! If you get too hot there’s plenty of shade umbrellas and the shadow cast from the worlds largest Dilly Bar. But eat fast, its hot out.

Only open part of the year, there is always a line March 1st when they open for the season.

Porter Creek

Even though its located off the busy 45th Street it doesn’t feel like it. Complete with running water, like a creek, plenty of shade or sun, whichever one you prefer and a natural outdoorsy feel.

And if the sun’s too hot, there is amble seating and shade in their three season porch. Perfect for enjoying a summer salad and cold drink.

Visit Rhombus Guys rooftop seating for a unique view of downtown Fargo near Island Park. There’s plenty of sun to soak up, so bring shades!

The folks at Junkyard Brewing Company got something figured out! This place is always packed and seating is somewhat limited. But it looks like they are expanding.

Junkyard brings in different FM area Food Trucks. Each day is a different treat. Add this to their uniquely flavored beers and you got something more worthy than a junkyard.

Blarney Stone

Blarney Stone sports a large three season porch seating area, but beware its in West Fargo and may get windy! There’s amble seating plenty of TV airing sports and a full bar. You can’t go wrong.
